Dedicated to our constant, and long journey, to happiness

This work represents my journey to define who I am and what I'm looking for: happiness.

In the last few months, I realized that many things that I was doing were not part of the path that I really want to follow: we're living in a world where we don't stop for a single minute, where we aren't able to listen carefully to each other and, most importantly, to all the things that surround us.

They always tell us that we have to stay focus on our work, our goals and live a life where only "business" matters...

Well, that is not true.

This Ep wouldn't be possible without a long period where I've stopped my "focus mode" and I've tried to live with less "business" and adding more distractions, long walkings in my home town and a lot of moments where I was alone with my portable recorder and the sound of the world.

I've learned an important lesson: being able to stop my daily life and listen.

This work is dedicated to all the people that are looking for a moment to stop their daily life, sit on the couch and listen carefully to what the world has to offer through his sound.

This is the debut EP of Synthbiont & Anassimandrus, the new ambient/experimental project born at the end of 2018 by the collaboration between Nicolò Faggiani and Tommaso Gobbo.

Their musical background comes from different musical experiences as DJs, vinyl collectors, and founders of two web-radios dedicated respectively to electronic music and dub-reggae.

Synthbiont & Anassimandrus was developed to research the deepest ambient atmospheres, creating musical journeys where the listener can immerse itself in a parallel sound universe.

The idea behind the mixing and the mastering process is to elaborate on different digital and analog sources, editing field recordings, samples and creating a unique soundscape.
